Lake Exen is known as a fish-rich lake with a good stock of pike-perch and large pike. The lake, which is 350 ha, has a maximum depth of nine metres. Exen is located in Ljungby and Markaryd municipality, in southern Småland. The purpose of the association "Exens FVOF" is to promote fishing and fisheries conservation within Lake Exen and the affected part of the river Bolmån, as well as to sell fishing licenses to the public on a larger scale.
